HobbyAnchor is an independent app. By using it you agree to what is below. It is short on purpose.
The app
HobbyAnchor is a personal tool for tracking one hobby and holding on to ideas about others. It is provided free, as it is, and we may change or stop it. If we stop it we will give you notice and time to export your data first.
Your account
You need an account, and you are responsible for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us at support@hobbyanchor.app if you think someone else has got into it. One person, one account. You must be at least 13 years old.
Your content stays yours
The hobbies you name, the notes you write, the photos and recordings you attach are yours. We claim no ownership of them and we will not publish, sell or train anything on them. We store and display them back to you because that is what the app is for, and for nothing else.
You can take everything with you at any time: Settings · My Data · Export everything. You can delete everything at any time: Settings · My Data · Delete account.
What we ask of you
- Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to upload.
- Do not try to break, overload or work around the app's security.
- Do not use the app to store other people's personal information.
If an account is doing one of those things we may suspend or remove it. We will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
No warranty, and what we are liable for
HobbyAnchor is provided without warranties of any kind. It is a hobby tracker, not a medical, therapeutic or professional service, and nothing in it is advice.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data beyond what a reasonable backup of your own export would have covered. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.
Apple
HobbyAnchor is downloaded through the App Store. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app or for support of it. These terms are between you and us.
Changes
If these terms change we will update the date at the top, and if the change is significant we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
